About Karen

Karen Lynn Morrison, age 46, of Mt. Sterling passed peacefully at her home on the evening of May 18, 2018 with her husband at her side.

Karen was born on June 20, 1971 in Youngstown, Ohio to Robert and Agnes (Kruppa) Klinko. She was a former Training and Education Officer for the Franklin County Community Emergency Response Team and a former instructor trainer for the American Red Cross. Throughout her life she had a passion for volunteerism and spent thousands of hours in the service of others, including teaching first aid and CPR, which was her passion. Karen was also an entrepreneur, founding MCR Medical in 2008, along with her husband. She was a lover of nature and enjoyed her time outside hiking and riding her Kubota tractor. Karen always had a smile or encouraging word for others. She was intuitive and caring, radiated a special warmth, loved life, and brought light and laughter to all who knew her.

Karen was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her mother, her husband, Charles Morrison III, whom she married October 11, 2008, a brother, Bob (Kim) Klimko of VA and 3 nephews; as well as many dear friends and extended family.

A funeral service is planned at 5pm on Thursday May 24, 2018 at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House with pastor Josh Stone officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 3pm until the start of the service.

Online condolences and photos may be shared with the family at www.robertsfh.net
