This post is being added before anybody really knows about the site, so please don’t read this and think we forgot to tell you! I’m writing this more as a post to share some of what’s been going on for backstory when you do start coming here for updates.
Karen’s going to make it to our MCR Medical holiday party this week. We’ve had a difficult few weeks with a complication from the chemo, but the upside is that she won’t be “chemo sick” this week. Another upside is that during the ordeal the doctors did new CT scans and we found out her tumors have all reduced in size. So, it looks like the chemo is doing its job.
On a side note, Karen has had me working on a sledding hill for her, and it’s all ready for the snow! The picture doesn’t really do it justice. When you’re standing there it is quite steep on the side you can see. But there is an alternate path down that is more gentle.
