The holidays are approaching quickly, and this year seems more stressful than in the past. The spring/summer projects around the house progressed, but many are still unfinished.
Karen has been struggling with a cough, fatigue, and is having some pain in her abdomen again. The pain is the same as she had when first diagnosed. It subsided over the last year, but came back last weekend. We took an extra trip up to the Clinic to have some tests, but none were conclusive. Right now she’s taking Advil to see if it helps. The doc thinks it might be a lung inflammation, and hopes some Advil calms that down a bit. The jury is still out on that one.
Her next treatment is the 27th, and is the first dose of the next cycle. That cycle wraps up in December, with a CT scan planned for December 19th. Hope for the best!
