Karen’s chemo starts at the Cleveland Clinic next Tuesday, May 16th. Her surgeon sees patients at a Medina branch, so we’re going there, as it’s about 40 minutes closer for us.
There’s not much excitement about starting a new cycle of chemo. It’s no fun at all. She’ll be starting the Carboplatin again, but adding a new medication which makes it more effective. Next cycle they’ll be adding a third chemo as well. I’ll add some of the details about those meds when she starts on them.
Karen is up and about again, but tires easily. We’re staying home most of the time, and enjoying a bit of time together before she starts the chemo up again.
