Dear friends,
A couple months ago I shared that I wanted to host an event to honor Karen. At the time I thought May 18 would be best, as it was the anniversary of her passing. It took only a day for me to realized that was a mistake.
I then thought the week after, but again, I think it’s a mistake. I’m not sure that it would be the right time.
More recently I’ve been thinking that a time closer to her birthday might be a better choice. In June, her flowers should be blooming nicely, and the weather should be good for an outdoor event. I’m thinking Saturday June 22, but will confirm later.
On a more personal note, it has come to my attention that some people are coming here to the blog to see how I’ve been, but I’ve not really shared much about that. I’ll try to post something to share a little about that sometime soon. Thanks for your thoughts.
I am with you, Charlie on whenever day, month or time you choose.
Thanks Charlie for the update. I can only assume how hard it is at time. But I am one of those who check in, I hope to be able to make it when you decide.
Hi Charlie, Think about you often and all that you are going through. Still holding you up in my daily prayers. Your load should lighten some soon now – hold tight. With Love, Aunt Ceil
