It’s been more than a month since I’ve added a post to the site. I’ve struggled a bit over the winter. In the summer I spent a lot of time working outside, but now it’s dark before I get home, and it’s a little harder to keep myself occupied.
Since my last update, I upgraded the LED star I hung for Karen in the front field. Moving forward, I think I’ll start referring to it as “Karen’s Star” as a proper name.
From now on, it’s Karen’s Star.
As I mentioned previously, my father suggested I get a solar cell and keep it going year-round. I am pleased to report that I’ve made it so. Here’s a pic of the solar panel and charger I set up.
Now, Karen’s Star is lit every night.
Here’s another view of Karen’s Star at night.
Her star lights up the night, every night, out here in Mount Sterling, Ohio.
I’m not sure why, but this month has been an especially hard one for me. I’ll do my best to post more often in the months to come.
What a man, you are, Charlie.! You have family & many friends on your journey. Let Karen’s star shine brightly and give you strength to carry on.
Karen’s Star looks wonderful. Praying the spring and light bring you comfort.
